Teachers

Shivani brings warmth, wisdom, and authentic presence to her teaching. As founder of Tantra Awakening, she creates spaces where vulnerability becomes strength and connection flourishes naturally.

After years of searching for something deeper than conventional life offered, Shivani discovered tantra in her 20’s and trained with Ma Ananda Sarita’s Tantra Essence school in her early 30’s. She has facilitated tantra workshops ever since, including a teacher training on Bali.

Ninad complements this with his grounded masculine presence and deep understanding of tantric principles, helping participants integrate insights into daily life.

Beginning his tantric journey in 2004, Ninad completed Ma Ananda Sarita’s prestigious Tantra Teachers Training in 2016 and now has had the honor of facilitating that same program. As a professional photographer and filmmaker, he has collaborated with internationally renowned tantra teachers, bringing his calm, creative energy and powerful loving presence to his teaching.

Inner Mastery Series: the path from sex to Superconciousness

The Inner Mastery Series takes its name from the profound teaching of Indian mystic Osho: “The path from sex to superconsciousness” – also the title of one of his transformative books.

These weekends were developed by Ma Ananda Sarita, a world-renowned tantra master who lived in Osho’s community for 26 years. She received tantric wisdom directly from Osho himself, creating a rare and authentic lineage that she now shares with carefully selected teachers worldwide.

Both Ninad and I completed Ma Ananda Sarita’s prestigious Tantra Teacher Training and we are part of her select Tantra Essence teaching team – bringing her profound teachings to the Netherlands.

The Inner Mastery Series consists of 7 retreats that can be attended separately. Each weekend focuses entirely on one chakra, offering three days of diverse tantric practices: tantra meditations, emotional bodywork, women’s circles/men’s circles, conscious communication, rituals, movement, breathwork, dance, and much more.

The sessions are extremely diverse and include: tantra meditations, emotional bodywork, women’s circle/men’s circle, conscious communication, rituals, movement, breathing, dancing, and much more.

 

👉 Although we may work with sexual energy (kundalini energy), there are no sexual acts in our group room! We usually keep our clothes on. Sometimes there is “functional nudity” or the option to be nude, for example during a massage.

About chakra 7

Sahasrara (the crown chakra) is where all chakras are integrated.

Here we go beyond individuation into cosmic consciousness. 💫

The person who has attained to this state resides in bliss and higher wisdom. From this space we gain a higher perspective: seeing life in all its colors and layers. And we can choose to engage in the games of life or not. Such a person is living in true freedom.

What makes this retreat especially rich: the crown chakra is the meeting point where all seven chakras converge. This means you’ll encounter the full spectrum of human experience: the groundedness of the root chakra, the sensuality of the sacral, the power of the solar plexus, the love of the heart, the expression of the throat, the wisdom of the third eye – all integrated into a unified whole.

This is why the weekend becomes both transcendent and deliciously human, both sacred and playful.

FAQ

• What does the schedule look like? On Friday we expect you to check in between 13:00 and 14:00, and we’ll start the training at 14:30. Friday and Saturday run from about 9:00 until 22:00. On Sunday we’ll finish around 18:00. In between there will be breaks for meals, rest, or a walk outside.
• Can I pay in installments? Yes. Use the discount code AANBETALING. Please pay the 2nd installment preferably before the start of the retreat (no extra costs). If you pay the 2nd installment after the retreat, an administration fee of €39 will be charged.
• What about cancellations?

1. More than 8 weeks before start: full refund minus €39 fee
2. 4–8 weeks before start: 50% refund
3. Less than 4 weeks before start: no refund
4. Substitution by another participant is possible in consultation

 

• I’d like to join with my partner. Is that possible? Definitely. Partner meditations can be done together with your partner. It is important, however, that you are also open to connecting with other participants in some exercises.
• Can I join on my own? Absolutely. Many participants come alone. In exercises done in pairs, you may always decide what your boundaries are.
• What about the balance of men and women? Usually around 50/50. There are never more men than women.
• LGBTQIA+. How does that work? Everyone is very welcome, regardless of gender or sexual orientation! I, Shivani, teach from my own experience as a heterosexual woman, and invite everyone to do their own interpretation of this. Please note: I sometimes mention biological, hormonal, and energetic differences between male and female bodies. If you don’t identify strictly as male or female, please get in touch beforehand. The same applies if you would prefer to work with people of the same gender. Together we will see what is possible (often, a lot 😊).
• Are there any sexual practices or nudity? There are absolutely no sexual acts. We usually keep our clothes on. Sometimes there is “functional nudity” or the option to be nude, for example during a massage. Even then, you are always free to choose what feels right for you. Everything is optional. We do work with our sexual energy (kundalini energy) and activating it. For this, nudity is not required and even physical touch is not necessarily needed.

 

 

• How do I know if I’m ready for this workshop? Some experience with tantra, meditation, or chakras is desirable. In addition, a willingness to stretch your comfort zone. In my experience, most people find it exciting, and we all bring along our own sensitivities and triggers. If you have doubts related to lack of tantra experience, mental or emotional challenges, unresolved trauma, etc., please let me know by email so we can talk it over.
• Where will I sleep? The retreat price includes accommodation in a twin room, shared with someone of the same gender. For an extra fee, you can book a single room. Bathrooms and toilets are shared.
• Are special diets taken into account? Yes. Please inform us after registration if you have specific dietary requirements. I will check with the cook. The meals are vegetarian and largely plant-based.
